Welcome to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences


The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MNF) combines the subjects of biosciences, chemistry, mathematics and physics. The Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW), the Leibniz Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) in Kühlungsborn and the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT) in Rostock are affiliated to the faculty. Research and teaching at the MNF are characterised by a high level of application and numerous interdisciplinary collaborations.
