Thanks to the construction projects of recent years, teaching and research conditions have been significantly improved. We no longer have constantly overcrowded lecture halls. Seminar groups are small, and we can guarantee individual support from our academic staff. Currently, over 2,200 students are enrolled in our various degree programs and specializations, including over 220 doctoral candidates. Experience shows that our graduates have excellent job prospects. This is due, on the one hand, to the additional opportunities available during their studies, such as study abroad, the acquisition of supplementary qualifications, or internships, and on the other hand, to their involvement in current research projects. The four university institutes currently employ 54 professors, 157 academic staff members, and 136 non-academic staff members. In addition, there are over 120 doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers funded by external grants. The faculty staff have raised between 4 and 5 million euros in third-party funding per year in recent years.
